FOOD BANK PROJECT DURING PANDEMIC & LOCKDOWN
A charity project called the, "Food Bank Project", is to help single mothers who are struggling and are affected during this pandemic and lockdown in Malaysia. Double Event Management organises online events to collect funds for this project. We will update the list of receivers, of the Food Bank Project from time to time. This is how we want to give back to the community and spread awareness about the importance of helping people who are having a bad time during this pandemic and lockdown. ADIK HASLINA (ON BEHALF OF HER MOTHER)
This is Adik Haslina, and she is now a Pre-U Student in Kuching. She achieved 9A's for her SPM examinations. Her ambition is to be a teacher. Her father, unfortunately, passed away due to cancer. She has 4 siblings. We are collaborating with the Kenyalang Prodigy Kuching to help us send the donation which has been collected, to her. Thus far, we have collected, RM200 cash for pocket money and RM300 for groceries.

PUAN MAIMUNAH
Puan Maimunah, lives in Desa Pandan. Due to the pandemic we couldn't send groceries to Puan Maimunah, but, we managed to call the nearest mini market and get their help to send her all the groceries. We manage to send groceries worth RM148.00 , from our Food Bank project, to Puan Maimunah.

KAK MIN
Kak Min lives in Kampung Medan, Petaling Jaya. Due to MCO, we ask Pa Pa Din to buy and sent to Kak Min the Food Bank total of RM150.00

KAK FAUZIAH
Kak Fauziah, is almost 60 years old and lives alone in a room she rents by herself in Setapak Jaya, Kuala Lumpur. At the age of almost 60 years old, she can only do simple jobs for her survival. We will continue and help Kak Fauziah on a monthly basis. We sent proceeds from the Food Bank project worth of RM120.00 to Kak Fauziah recently.

PUAN HASLINA
Puan Haslina is a single mother, who lives in PPR Hang Tuah. She was diagnosed with ADHD, and has 4 kids who also have ADHD and autism. We managed to send her RM120.00 worth of items from our Food Bank Project. We do hope we can help her more, on a monthly basis. Please do support us by donating as much as you can within your capacity, so that we can help her.

SINGLE MOTHER
A single mother who lives in Tasik Permaisuri needed our help. We cannot reveal much infomation about her, due to privacy reasons. We asked our facebook followers to choose any single mother who badly needed help and send her groceries. This was done with the aid of the proceeds collected from the Food Bank project. What we can reveal, is that she works as a cleaner and is struggling to make ends meet during this pandemic. We are very pleased to have been able to help her.

CANCER PATIENT
She was diagnose with cancer. Our representative at Kuantan Pahang, Wawa Zubir helps us to sent the Food Bank. We are so glad that we can help even its a small quantity.
We manage to sent Food Bank worth RM150.00

TOK MI
At the age of 70 years old, Tok Mi take care her 5 grandchildren. She work as a recycle items collector. Since MCO, she can't work. We help her by giving her food bank and RM50 for her new born grandson.

MAZUIN
She has 4 sons. Since she has a nerve problem and can't walk properly , she cannot work. We help Mazuin by giving her a food bank worth of RM150.00

ATHIRAH
We received an emergency whatsApp on Monday (27 June 2021) from Athirah. She need helps from us to buy milk and pampers for her son. We also add on chickens and biscuits for her and her children. One of her children was diagnose with autism. A total of RM150 we spent to help Puan Athirah.
